WELCOME TO THE 29TH ANNUAL MEETING
OF THE INTERNATIONAL LORAN ASSOCIATION

The organizers cordially welcome all ILA members, government and agency representatives, user groups, manufacturers of satellite/Loran navigation and timing equipment, and all interested observers.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of the 29th ILA Annual Meeting is to address the influence of regional policies on the use of state-owned satellite systems. The technical sessions will be concerned with the integration of regional terrestrial services and satellite services in user equipment. The Washington, DC venue was chosen to provide an opportunity for US Congressional staff and government agency personnel to obtain an up-to-date review of policies and practices in other regions of the world.
